Marvelous Marigolds!
| 10th September 2020Marigolds are very easy to grow and a very cheerful plant to have in the garden. The tall African variety has bright yellow or orange blossoms and the dwarf French marigolds have smaller yellow, orange, rusty red on a more compact plant. I direct sow in several beds in the spring which displays huge amounts of blooms from summer until the first frost.

The more blossoms you pick the more blossoms are produced.
It is the flower heads that produce a lovely yellow dye – use either fresh or dried.
